Yes, you can have hot Japanese bentos delivered to your office anywhere in Singapore, individually boxed, clearly labelled, and still warm when they reach you

That is what we do at Tora Tora Tora, a modern Japanese restaurant and izakaya hidden on the rooftop of Oxley Bizhub 2 in Ubi. We deliver to corporate offices, event venues and function halls across the island. There is no minimum order, delivery is free above $150, and for larger groups we appreciate a couple of days to prepare. Need something urgent? Let us know and we will do our best to make it work.

Recently, a Japanese MNC came to us to celebrate their company anniversary. Mei reached out for 45 bentos across four flavours, to be sent to their office at Beach Road. We know how important a milestone like this is for a team, so we were glad to have the opportunity, and we aimed to give them our very best.

One order, 45 boxes, four flavors

Mei reached out a few days ahead. Her team had a big celebration coming up, and she wanted something that is authentically Japanese, with flavors that are clean, balanced, and exactly how they should be. For a Japanese company, that is no small ask, because they would know exactly what a good bento should taste like.

She also chose individual bentos for good reason. In a busy office, a buffet may not always work. Not everyone can step away from their desk at the same time, the food sits out and loses its heat, and there is the crowding and sharing to think about. Individual boxes solve all of that. Everyone gets their own complete meal, ready whenever they are free, with no queue and no mess. That was the problem we set out to solve for Mei, and it is one we are glad to handle every week.

Here is what she chose:

  • Chicken Karaage & Grilled Hamachi, 10 boxes
  • Salmon Teriyaki Bento, 10 boxes
  • Seafood Fried Rice Bento, 15 boxes
  • Wagyu Fried Rice Bento, 10 boxes

Forty-five boxes in total, one for every person on the team. Here is how we prepared them.

Behind the scenes of a 45-box order:

1. We cook fresh, in proper batches

Everything begins in the kitchen. We prepare our bentos with the freshest ingredients, cooked in batches so the quality stays consistent from the first box to the forty-fifth. Just as importantly, we cook each batch through to the right temperature, then plate while everything is still hot. This is what keeps the taste true, so the bento eats the same at your office as it would straight from our kitchen.

2. We lay out every box

Before any food goes in, we set out all 45 boxes and line them up. It looks like a small production line, and that is exactly the point. It keeps a large order organised, even and accurate.

3. We build each flavour by hand

Every flavour is assembled by hand, box by box. The wagyu fried rice is built differently from the salmon teriyaki, so we portion and arrange each one with care. Consistency matters, and so does presentation.

4. We label every single box

This is the part offices appreciate most. Each box is labelled with its flavour, so nothing is left to guesswork. If you would like, we can add a staff name to every box, so each person receives their own. We also clearly mark vegetarian boxes and any special requests, such as "less spring onions". Whatever your team needs, we note it down and make sure it is right.

5. We pack hot, and pack to hold the heat

Once the boxes are ready, we seal them straight into thick, insulated thermal bags while the food is still piping hot. The insulation holds the temperature steady through the journey, which is how your bentos stay warm and the texture stays right, even after the delivery time.

6. Delivered with care, and on time

As soon as our delivery partner collects the order, it is on its way. Mei's bentos reached Beach Road in about 20 minutes. Most deliveries arrive within 20 to 30 minutes depending on location. Hot food, delivered on time, handled with care from start to finish.
